My Story

I’ve always been someone who enjoyed understanding how things work. When I was a kid, my parents bought me the book The Way Things Work by David Macaulay, and that curiosity has stayed with me ever since.

Over the years, that interest turned into several years of experience in IT and tech support and a hobby of building and selling computers. Now, through Bair Tech Support, I want to use those skills to help people in my community feel more confident and less frustrated when technology problems happen.

Why I Do This

A few years ago, my mom bought a TV from a big-box retail store. Since she wasn’t very comfortable with technology, she paid the store to help set it up. The setup service ended up costing nearly as much as the TV itself.

For someone living on a fixed income, that felt unnecessarily expensive. That experience stuck with me and helped shape why I started Bair Tech Support. I understand that everyone has to make a living, but I also believe people shouldn’t feel overwhelmed or financially strained just because they need help with technology.

Yes, I enjoy technology — but I like helping people even more. No problem is too small. If you think I may be able to help, feel free to reach out.

How I Work

The first thing I do when someone reaches out for help is listen. I want to understand what’s frustrating you, what you need, and what’s actually happening with the problem.

I try not to guess whenever possible. Whether it’s a computer acting up, a printer refusing to cooperate, Wi-Fi issues, or a TV that needs to be set up, I’ll take the time to understand the situation and do my best to resolve the issue while helping you feel less stressed in the process.
